knowledge of SQL toolsbr Experience in Database Performance Development and Maintenancebr Indepth understanding of database security backup and recovery and performance monitoring requirementsbr Familiarity with relational and dimensional data modelingbr Extensive knowledge in database design implementation and conversionbr Knowledge of scripts such as Shell PowerShell and Unix preferredbr Experience with SSAS SSIS and SSRSbr Desirable market certifications for Oracle and SQL Server databasesbr Practical knowledge of Linux and Windows Server infrastructuresbr Extensive knowledge of database technologies MySQL MS SQL PostgreSQL Oracle MongoDBbr Experience with cloud services AWS required Azure preferredbr Document routine database administration activitiesbr Support big data ETL activities on the operating platform as well as creating and modifying database administration reportsbr Integrate a database with corporate applicationsbr Develop SQL statements TSQLPLSQL to Facilitate brainstorming meetings to review analyze and evaluate systems and business needsbr Responsible for database backup and recovery methods database access security and integrity physical data storage design and data storage administrationbr Assists in selecting a database management system and maintaining database performancebr Participate in continuous process improvementbr Download and install service packs and database updatesbr Configure and maintain SQL security controlsbr Make recommendations for the system architecture in accordance with the best practices of the platform for which it operatesbr Manage database backup and recovery as well as disaster recovery planning in a meaningful way with time managementbr Create change and improve database maintenance tasks and plansbr Proactively monitor database maintenance tasks troubleshooting failed processes and resolving issues as quickly as possiblebr Analyze and troubleshoot database slowness and low performancebr
