We are looking for a Middle Node.js Developer to help enhance digital solutions for supermarkets and retail businesses. Remote, Ukraine

Our client is transforming retail experiences by automating social media campaign management, simplifying customer interactions with an advanced AI-driven booking robot, and enhancing engagement through personalized notifications, secure promotions, and interactive QR codes.As a Middle Node.js Developer, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing cloud-based solutions, integrating Firebase services, and learning FlutterFlow and Dart to expand your expertise. Youll work directly with the founder in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment, ensuring seamless product performance and long-term stability.

What youll do in this role

• Own the development and maintenance of cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Manage and optimize Cloud Functions and Cloud Run services.
• Develop backend services using Node.js and integrate them with frontend platforms.
• Utilize Firebase for authentication, real-time database solutions, analytics, and hosting.
• Learn and support the development of front-end solutions using FlutterFlow and Dart.
• Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues, ensuring long-term solutions and product stability.

Were looking for

• 2-3 years of experience as a Node.js Developer.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly Cloud Functions and Cloud Run.
• Strong understanding of Firebase, including authentication, real-time database, and hosting.
• Basic proficiency in Node.js, with a strong willingness to develop further.
• Eagerness to learn FlutterFlow and Dart.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and own assigned tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with the founder and teammates.
• English proficiency is a must.

 

How to knock our socks off

• Experience working in a startup environment.
• Prior experience in customer support issue investigation.
• Knowledge of AI-driven automation and its applications in retail.
• Naming five or more dishes that include beetroot besides borshch.
