Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior C# Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a Canadian courier and package delivery company. The company delivers nearly 500,000 parcels daily across Canada thanks to a technological platform offering more than 3500 optimized routes to almost 500 independent delivery employees. The companys services are provided via a digital order tracking platform that lets suppliers and logistics service dealers accept bulk orders, track parcel delivery routes, check and communicate shipment details, manage bills and invoices, and fasten the cargo shipment processes by partnering with certified transporters, enabling clients to request and enjoy secured transportation of their parcels and cargos by being able to track them in real-time. The clients customers include Amazon, Pitney Bowes, and Landmark Global, which handle shipping for Etsy and eBay.

The ideal candidate needs to have good experience in High-Level System Design and be very aware of the latest technologies. This project is connected with building a new financial platform for invoicing and compensation.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 5-6 years of experience developing object-oriented applications with C#, .NET, .NET Core.
• Solid knowledge of Azure (CosmosDB, Azure SQL, AKS, EntraId).
• Proven knowledge of Message Queue or Message Stream (Apache Pulsar, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Service Bus).
• Experience with RestAPI/gRPC.
• High-level system Design skills.
• Experience with software development practices such as source control, code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.
• Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
• Working experience with Agile delivery teams.
• Ability and interest to learn other coding languages as needed.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• English Upper-Intermediate or higher.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with our local product manager and solutions architect.
• Cooperatewithin an Agile team to create compelling and cutting-edge applications.
• Participate in sprint standups, Sprint Refine, Planning.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications and components.
• Write clean readable code, debug complex problems that span systems, prioritize work, and get things done with a high level of effectiveness.
• Write and review technical documents, including design, development, document revision, and code review.
• Analyze, review, and modify existing software solutions to increase operating efficiency or meet new requirements.
• Compose technical and user specification documentation to support application code design efforts.
• Research and evaluate new development technologies, and if appropriate implement them.
• Troubleshoot production development issues.
• Develop tests and processes to ensure software stability and correctness.
• Work closely with the product management team to ensure we build the best product possible.
