We are looking for a PHP Developer to work alongside designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend systems that power the companys products. Collaborating closely with front-end developers, UX designers, QA, and business stakeholders, the engineer ensures the back-end architecture meets both technical and business requirements, driving innovation and aligning with the overall product vision.

What we expect from you:

• Proven Backend Development Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a backend developer.
• Strong Programming Skills: Proficiency in PHP, with a deep understanding of the Laravel framework.
• Database Expertise: Solid knowledge of SQL, particularly PostgreSQL, and its application in backend development.
• Adherence to Best Practices: A strong grasp of SOLID principles for writing maintainable and scalable code.
• Effective Communication: Ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation and specifications.
• Adaptability: Experience in quickly learning and adapting to new technologies and trends in the backend development landscape.
• Fluency in English: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English for effective communication within an international team.
• Ability for travel in Europe: The Product is a fully remote team, but we would like to meet in real life as well

Nice to Have:

• Background or experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, event sourcing, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS)
• Experience in optimizing project performance, including concurrency handling
• Openness to learn and perform with Node.js.

And what would you actually do?

• Develop backend solutions adhering to best practices and guidelines;
• Analyze and decompose project requirements to create detailed task specifications;
• Own features end-to-end and contribute to technical/product decisions.
• Collaborate with DevOps to make decisions regarding service infrastructure and define best implementation practices;
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies as required by the project.
